ACCESS TO ALL DATA WITH MULTIPLE FILESHARE

Munich, December 13th 2017 – The latest version of SecurePIM, the Container solution for mobile work, has extended its functionality and empowers its users with broader possibilities and enhanced usability to access their company’s corporate network securely!

Within its Document Module SecurePIM users can securely store their documents, email attachments, and photos taken with the SecurePIM Camera. Furthermore, they can securely connect to the company’s corporate file server and access data — any time, from anywhere within SecurePIM.

What if the user needs to access several fileshare systems (e.g. SharePoint/WebDAV)?

With its latest version, SecurePIM enables multiple fileshare support, providing a consistent way for users to access their work files within the Document Module. This functionality can be configured in the SecurePIM Management Portal by the administrator. When enabled, users can connect themselves to the necessary fileshares in a seamless and secure way thanks to direct WebDAV support.

Document Module in new and improved design

The Document Module provides a clear design and improved usability, so that users can now easily distinguish between their local documents, photos taken with the SecurePIM Camera, as well as the configured and non-configured fileshares.

Perfect usability on iPhone X

In addition to improvements within the Document Module, valid for both iOS and Android, the new version of SecurePIM introduces some iOS-specific enhancements. Face recognition is supported, so users can now log in even more easily than before. The latest SecurePIM version also runs seamlessly on iPhone X and has been adapted to fit the new format, so that working mobile with SecurePIM remains easy and secure on any device.

Official AppConfig support for Android

With its new Android version, SecurePIM now officially supports the AppConfig standard. This enables a seamless integration of SecurePIM into any Mobile Device Management (MDM) system, that supports AppConfig, making it even easier to work on mobile devices securely.

The latest version of SecurePIM is available in the Apple AppStore (version 7.47.3) and from December 18th from Google Play for Android (version 5.5.0).
