2025 is slowly coming to an end and we welcome you to the last release of the year with the latest versions of SecurePIM and the SecurePIM Management Portal.<\/p>\n

SecurePIM (9.33.x for iOS & 9.6.x for Android)<\/h2>\n

Dynamic font sizes in the Mail module (iOS)<\/h3>\n

With the current version of SecurePIM, the mail module now supports dynamic font sizes. The font size on the account page, the folder view, the inbox, the email view and when creating an email in the email composer automatically adapts to the individual iOS system settings, thereby improving the readability and usability of the app for users with impaired vision, age-related visual impairments or temporary restrictions. <\/p>\n

In order for the dynamic texts to be displayed in the Mail module, you must activate them in the iOS system settings under Settings > Accessibility > Display & text size > Larger text<\/strong> and also in the SecurePIM settings General > Dynamic text<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Dynamic user interface in the Documents, Tasks & Notes modules (iOS)<\/h3>\n

With the current release, we have converted the Documents, Tasks and Notes modules to an adaptive user interface. After the Workspace, the Contacts module and the Browser, these modules are the next modules in SecurePIM to react fully adaptively to Stage Manager and Window Management. <\/p>\n

Restrict downgrading of the category for email categorization (iOS)<\/h3>\n

Administration teams now have the option of preventing the downgrading of the category of an email. Users can then no longer select a lower hierarchical category when replying to or forwarding an email that has been assigned a category. <\/p>\n

Swipe available in the Team Mail module (Android)<\/h3>\n

Swipe to the right to mark emails as read or unread. Swipe to the left to quickly reply or delete. Tap the menu button for all available actions. <\/p>\n

Stability and maintainability improved (Android)<\/h3>\n

We have revised the internal architecture in several modules to further increase the stability of the app – especially during intensive use and under special system conditions.<\/p>\n

Support for Exchange Server Subscription Edition (SE)<\/h3>\n

As of this release, we only support Exchange Server Subscription Edition (SE).
\nMicrosoft’s support for Exchange 2016 and Exchange 2019 ended on October 14, 2025, after which Microsoft will no longer provide security updates for Exchange 2016 and Exchange 2019. <\/p>\n

Announcement: End of support for Sharepoint 2016 and Sharepoint 2019<\/h3>\n

Microsoft is expected to end support for Sharepoint 2016 and Sharepoint 2019 on July 14, 2026. From this date, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates for Sharepoint 2016 and Sharepoint 2019.
\nPlease update in good time before support expires.
\nSharepoint 2016 and 2019 are expected to be replaced by Sharepoint Server Subscription Edition (SE) in the second half of 2026. <\/p>\n

Deactivation of Apple Intelligence writing tools in input fields (iOS)<\/h3>\n

In SecurePIM, all writing tools from Apple Intelligence – such as rewriting texts or proofreading by Apple Intelligence – have been deactivated in text input fields. This affects both the normal input fields in SecurePIM and embedded web content.
\nThis measure means that Apple Intelligence can be used on the device without Apple Intelligence processing content from SecurePIM. <\/p>\n

Note on Apple Intelligence:
\nSince iOS 18.4, the functions of Apple Intelligence have been fully available on iPhones in the EU. However, if AI functions are activated, there is a possibility that Apple Intelligence will access sensitive content from other apps and process it outside the respective app.
\nApple currently does not offer the option to specifically exclude certain apps from being used by Apple Intelligence.
\nWe therefore recommend completely deactivating Apple Intelligence on devices with sensitive data. <\/p>\n
