Munich, May 24, 2023 – Materna Virtual Solution’s new iNDIGO Competence Center develops solutions for the secure ultra-mobile workplace based on iOS. The first iNDIGO app developed there, TrustDok, is already ready for use. In addition, the competence center offers services such as consulting, integration, lifecycle management and support services as well as hardware and supplements for the smooth procurement of Apple devices. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Materna Virtual Solution, the expert for secure ultra-mobile communication, has opened the first competence center in Germany for the iNDIGO ecosystem. iNDIGO (iOS Native Devices in Government Operation) is the Apple operating system for iPhone and iPad with permission to use from the BSI (German Federal Office for Information Security). The operating license applies to all iPhones with an A13 processor and iOS 15.6.1 or higher and all iPads with iPadOS 15.6.1 or higher. These models are therefore suitable for processing VS-NfD classified data and documents. <\/p>\n

The first independent iNDIGO app, TrustDok, has already been developed in the new competence center. This mobile application can be used to open, edit and send Office documents with a high level of security up to the “VS-NfD” classification level. TrustDok’s technology is based on the SecureDok document viewer and editor, which has been in use in the high-security SecurePIM Government SDS system solution at the highest federal authorities for more than five years. TrustDok has been technically available for beta testing for selected customers and evaluation by the BSI since the beginning of May. The official market launch will take place in June 2023. <\/p>\n

Intensive work is already underway to further expand the portfolio into a modular and flexible Trust product family for iNDIGO. In the development pipeline are solutions such as TrustOwl for secure intranet and internet access or TrustPim, a software suite that consolidates a range of ultra-mobile applications in one app. In addition to the ultra-mobile iNDIGO solutions, Materna Virtual Solution also offers supplementary services for secure communication and collaboration in the government environment: <\/p>\n

App manufacturing and integration:<\/strong> The iNDIGO Competence Center’s app manufacturing department develops specialist applications for secure ultra-mobile working that meet the requirements of the respective authority in accordance with the legal guidelines of the BSI. Customers can also draw on the development and consulting expertise of the iNDIGO experts for connecting third-party apps and developing their own apps. In addition to the front end, the iNDIGO Competence Center also provides support in the back end, for example with the provision of tested and approved security architectures. <\/li>\n
  2. iNDIGO Services:<\/strong> The iNDIGO Competence Center’s professional services portfolio covers the entire life cycle and includes readiness checks and integration consulting, administration and life cycle management, BSI-compliant certifications and documentation, security services and customer support (first level) as well as a learning platform including security training for employees.<\/li>\n
  3. Hardware and supplements:<\/strong> In future, Apple devices and software such as MDM (Mobile Device Management) can also be ordered directly via the iNDIGO Competence Center and service contracts can be concluded. The ordering of iPhone and iPad devices, registration, installation and roll-out, including support, can be handled entirely by the iNDIGO Competence Center on request. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>
