What is it about?
Ultra-mobile working is no longer a dream of the future. According to PwC 88% of employees in the public sector want to continue working from home at least as often in the future as they did during the pandemic. At the same time, 34% already use private devices for mobile work(BYOD = Bring Your Own Device).
However, there is an above-average reluctance to implement mobile work concepts, particularly in the CRITIS sector. The obvious reasons for this are security concerns, a lack of GDPR compliance and perhaps the factor to be weighted most heavily: the real threat of cyberattacks resulting from current geopolitical tensions and the economic interests of hackers. Critical infrastructures (KRITIS) play a particularly lucrative and attractive role for hackers, as they are essential for the state community and the general population. This is why KRITIS organizations and facilities are also particularly worthy of protection when it comes to mobile work.
