In the ambulatory care sector sensible data are exchanged constantly: you can find anything from a written team handover on paper, integrated messenger functionalities in care-software and private services like WhatsApp. Data protection is not “sexy”, but extremely important – violations of GDPR may result in high penalties and reputation loss. We have banned WhatsApp from corporate phones and are using the secure alternative – SecurePIM.

With SecurePIM we were able to get our mobile devices to the same level of security as our entire IT landscape. Our employees now use encrypted emails, calendars etc. and access the company network on their smartphones.

As the public services company of Bad Saulgau, we serve around 17.000 residents with gas, water, energy, heat and broadband and are therefore covering several areas of critical infrastructure.
