TrustOwl is a secure intranet browser for indigo that allows users to securely access internal specialist applications and VS-NfD-rated content and information. The application has been officially approved by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) and is aimed at authorities for whom it is essential to have access to internal information and specialist applications with confidentiality protection via smartphone or tablet, even when on the move. Data security and intuitive usability must go hand in hand. Common browsers such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari are not suitable for VS-NfD-classified information, particularly with regard to the security aspects required for this.
