Munich, 3 May 2018 – Virtual Solution, the German security specialist, strengthens its channel by nominating Thomas Thölke as its new Sales Director.

On March 1st, Thomas Thölke (45 years) became Virtual Solution AG’s new Sales Director. He is now in charge of the expansion of the company’s distribution and partner channels both in Germany and abroad, as well as for business development and collaboration with technology partners. Thomas Thölke began his career at Nixu OY, a Finnish security and network consultancy company, where he was responsible for national and international sales. Following this experience, he began working as the head of the European resellers’ network for Fischer Network. At Astaro, and more recently at Sophos, he took on the position of Sales Director and was responsible for expanding these businesses’ markets in Northern and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, to name only a few. Thanks to his extensive experience, he has gained comprehensive knowledge of the security branch.

In addition to other tasks, Mr Thölke will focus on the development of Virtual Solution’s “Mobile Security as a Service” strategy. By means of this service, the company aims to help IT providers offer their clients a managed solution for secure mobile work, in which the providers will be responsible for the app’s management, and users will simply operate it.
