Challenge
Container technology as a way to securely access company data was already applied at Steiff. A new solution had meet further demands:
- Secure, international use of sensitive company data – even on privately owned smartphones.
- Approved by data protection officers and the works council. High level of security and control, but not at the expense of the user.
- Swift integration in the existing infrastructure with IBM Domino and Mobile Device Management.
During the extensive pilot phase, feedback was unanimously positive. The app was found to be ‘stable and reliable’, and ‘nice and easy to use’.
