SecurePIM (9.47.x for iOS & 9.8.x for Android)
iPad Navigation: Native Menu Bar in SecurePIM (iOS)
SecurePIM now uses the native iOS menu bar (“Tab Bar”) when displaying windows once the window reaches a certain size. The Tab Bar provided by the system at the top of the screen gives you clearer access to the individual sections of the app. In Apple’s native iOS menu bar four modules and the Workspace . You can customize the modules displayed and their order in the Customize the Workspace .
Dynamic Font Sizes in the Calendar Event View (iOS)
The detailed view of individual calendar events in the Calendar module now supports dynamic font sizes.
New Design for the Workspace Module (iOS)
We’ve given the Workspace in SecurePIM a fresh new look and updated its design. If you use Smartcard-on-Demand, you can now also connect or disconnect the smart card directly within the Workspace.
Include email attachments when replying (iOS)
When replying to emails with attachments, you can now use the ““Reply with attachment” or “Reply to all with attachments” to reply to a single person or to everyone, sending the attachments directly along with the reply.
Window Controller: Improved Title Bar for Windows (iOS)
With iPadOS 26, Apple introduced a redesigned window management system featuring true overlapping windows, customizable corners, and a new set of traffic-light-style window controls ( Close, Minimize and (Full screen) in the upper-left corner of each app window, modeled after the native macOS design.
We’ve adjusted the title bar for windows so that all controls are now neatly organized and no longer overlap or, for example, cause the SecurePIM navigation buttons no longer disappear behind the iOS window control buttons.
Maintain the current time after viewing a calendar event & Improved display of the day in the month view (iOS)
The calendar now saves your selections in the daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly views the point in time where you just viewed an appointment. When you view an appointment, you remain in the same time period and don’t have to scroll back. This means the display no longer jumps back to the current time but stays at the point you just selected.
In the monthly view on the iPhone, it’s now easier to see which day is selected. The current day is highlighted in color and stands out more clearly from the rest of the calendar.
Optimized use of on all screen sizes—including foldables (Android)
We have comprehensively optimized the app’s display for different screen sizes—including foldable devices. Layouts now adapt more consistently, rotation-related issues have been reduced, and display problems have been resolved. The available screen space is now used more efficiently. Registration also works smoothly now without requiring forced alignment.
More Stable Registration and Improved Smart Card Processes ( Android)
We have further stabilized the registration process for external smart cards and implemented several improvements. Display issues in individual registration steps have been resolved. In addition, processes such as PIN entry and changes have been optimized, so that registrations now proceed more reliably and smoothly overall.
More Reliable Re-Authentication for Expired Sessions ( Android)
The app now responds more effectively when an existing login is no longer valid. In this case, if the user has an active internet connection, they are redirected to log in again. Synchronization processes are suspended until authentication is complete.
Technical information
Exchange Online: EWS Shutdown
In February 2026, Microsoft announced the mandatory deprecation of the Exchange Web Services (EWS) API for Exchange Online and Microsoft 365, effective October 1, 2026.
The EWS shutdown affects only your cloud environment; it has no impact on your on-premises installations.
We have already begun adapting our products to meet this new requirement. Until now, EWS has been used to integrate shared mailboxes, calendars, public folders, and push notifications.
Ensuring EWS Functionality with the App Whitelist:
To ensure continued functionality, administration teams must explicitly enable EWS manually prior to the shutdown in October 2026. For example, you can enable EWS for the entire organization using the command ` Set-OrganizationConfig -EWSEnabled $true `. EWS can also be enabled for individual mailboxes. Administration teams should consult Microsoft for information on the available options.
Polaris update: Extended license
The Polaris license included in SecurePIM versions 9.33.x and earlier will expire on June 30, 2026. To continue using the document editor to its full extent, we strongly recommend updating SecurePIM before June 30, 2026.
Announcement: End of support for Sharepoint 2016 and Sharepoint 2019
Microsoft is expected to end support for Sharepoint 2016 and Sharepoint 2019 on July 14, 2026. From this date, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates for Sharepoint 2016 and Sharepoint 2019.
Please update in good time before support expires.
Sharepoint 2016 and 2019 are expected to be replaced by Sharepoint Server Subscription Edition (SE) in the second half of 2026.
Deactivation of Apple Intelligence writing tools in input fields (iOS)
In SecurePIM, all writing tools from Apple Intelligence – such as rewriting texts or proofreading by Apple Intelligence – have been deactivated in text input fields. This affects both the normal input fields in SecurePIM and embedded web content.
This measure means that Apple Intelligence can be used on the device without Apple Intelligence processing content from SecurePIM.
Note on Apple Intelligence:
Since iOS 18.4, the functions of Apple Intelligence have been fully available on iPhones in the EU. However, if AI functions are activated, there is a possibility that Apple Intelligence will access sensitive content from other apps and process it outside the respective app.
Apple currently does not offer the option to specifically exclude certain apps from being used by Apple Intelligence.
We therefore recommend completely deactivating Apple Intelligence on devices with sensitive data.
- Configuration of SkipKey for Apple Intelligence via MDM (iOS)
To prevent Apple Intelligence from being activated in the first place, we recommend configuring a SkipKey for Apple Intelligence. SkipKeys can be set up by administration teams during the setup of devices if you use an MDM system, for example. If a SkipKey is configured for Apple Intelligence, the option for activation is not displayed to users during device setup.

If you do not use MDM, SecurePIM Enterprise users must manually deactivate Apple Intelligence in the iOS device settings.

End of Support for Android 12
With this release, support for Android 12 has been discontinued. We recommend updating affected devices to a more recent version of Android to continue enjoying all features and security enhancements.
Please update SecurePIM to the latest version on all devices used.
For iOS devices
With the iOS/iPadOS versions Security-critical patches are now available for version 26.5. Therefore, please update to version 26.5 as soon as possible . Please note that we discontinue support for older iOS versions 6 months after the official release of a new iOS version.
For Android devices
If you are using an Android device, we recommend that you use Android 15. Please update your device if you have not already done so.
SecurePIM Management Portal (Version 2.64.x)
Automated LDAP Account Deletion
In SecurePIM, accounts can now be automatically removed as soon as the corresponding account has been deleted from the connected LDAP directory.
You can access the feature at External Services > LDAP > Synchronization Deletion Rule > Enable.
LDAP and SMTP Configuration: Re-entering Login Credentials When Addresses Change
If you change the server address of an LDAP or SMTP service in the SecurePIM Management Portal, you must re-enter the corresponding login credentials. The configuration is updated as soon as the destination server changes. You can find this setting in the sections External Services > LDAP > LDAP Configuration and >: Company Administration and System Emails.
Additional variables for the WebDAV server path
You can now add the following additional variables to the WebDAV server path in SecurePIM:
${ExternalReferenceNumber}${FirstName}${LastName}
The variables can be found directly in the path under > Settings, > File Server, WebDAV URLs be used.

The new version of SecurePIM is now available in the Apple App Store (version 9.47.x) and on Google Play (version 9.8.x). Update now to take advantage of the latest features.
