Cameras and scanners are essential functions of mobile devices and are used intensively every day. But when it comes to processing classified data, standard applications reach their limits. TrustCam was specially developed for the secure capture and management of image and video data in protected environments.
Exclusively for indigo
TrustCam is the first camera app developed exclusively for indigo and is currently in the approval process at the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). The app extends the native platform functions such as “Mail”, “Calendar” and “Contacts” with the essential option of securely capturing and managing photos and videos – even for content up to classification level VS-NfD.

- Securely capture and save photos and videos directly on the device
- Browse, manage and organize stored media content
- Share or delete media with the highest security standards
- Sharing media content for other secure applications
- Integrated QR code scanner (under development) e.g. for opening intranet pages in TrustOwl
- Flexible camera settings: Switch between front and rear camera, configuration of flash mode
Optimum safety for the ultra-mobile workplace
TrustCam enables government employees and companies to securely capture image and video data via the camera API and share it with applications that are specially designed for handling confidential information. This provides optimum support for ultra-mobile working in highly secure IT environments.
